Our story and our why
Why We Chose “Twelve One”
At the heart of our photography and videography business, there’s a story that’s as deeply personal as it is meaningful. the name of our business, Twelve One, is more than just a name – it’s a reflection of the love, commitment, and unforgettable moments that have shaped our lives together.
Our journey started on December 1st (12/1)– the day we got engaged. That single date marked the beginning of a new chapter, one that would forever tie our hearts together. Fast forward to the following year, and December 1st became even more special when we said “I do”, on the beach in Mexico.
But it didn’t stop there.
On January 12th (1/12), our firstborn child came into the world, making the number “12” even more significant in our lives. December 1st and January 12th – two dates forever intertwined in our hearts – became the foundation of what we wanted to create with our business. We wanted a name that would honor those milestones, a name that reflected our commitment to love, family, and storytelling.
Twelve One is not just a name; it’s a reminder of the love that began our journey, the bond that continues to grow, and the story we’re telling through every photograph and film we create. It’s a symbol of timeless moments, captured forever, just like the memories that started it all for us.
